All five members of infinite communication will be interning within the Communications Department of the following organizations listed below. Internships run for the month of May and are part of the course requirements for graduation. Students are responsible for obtaining their internships, although help is provided within Sheridan College.

 

Rosanna Armata - Region of Peel (Public Affairs for the Public Health Division)

Serving the areas of Brampton, Caledon and Mississauga. The regional health department for the area that offers a wide range of public health service to ensure residents and workers can obtain credible information on preventing illness and improving the health of our community.

Lakshita Chohan - Directors Guild of Canada (DGC)

The DGC is a national labour organization that represents over 3,800 key creative and logistical personnel in the film and television industry covering all areas of direction, design, production and editing. The DGC also holds an annual award ceremony to honour Canadian film and television programming.

Jen Lyons - Saskatoon Health Region

Improving health through excellence and innovation in service, education and research, building on the strengths of our people, and partnerships. It is the largest health region in the province and provides specialized care to thousands of people across Saskatchewan.

Lesley Patel - The Oakville Hospital Foundation

With community support, the foundation works to ensure essential healthcare services and resources are available today - for patients, community and staff - and will be there tomorrow to meet the community's growing needs. The Oakville Hospital Foundation is determined to be the charity of choice among donors in the Oakville community and will maximize financial support from the community to benefit the patients of Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital (OTMH)

 

Hina Sheikh - My Mississauga Events

My Mississauga is in its third year and continues to be very successful at holding events for the surrounding community. Events range from outdoor movie nights, concerts, cultural festivals, theatre and dance performances and vintage car nights. The City works closely with community groups, partners, perfromers, vendors and sponsors.
